The three options in difficulty

Any journey worth taking is going to have its fair share of challenges.

But the way we respond to the difficulties will dictate how far along the road we travel.

So, when you find yourself in times of trouble (mother Mary comes to me....) have three options:

  1. Quit: You've realised the journey is no longer worth taking. There's not always shame in quitting, but don't stop simply because it's hard. Stop because you think it's your best option.
  2. Commit: When the trouble comes, sometimes you'll sense that it's a crucial part of the journey. Like a long hill in a run, it's hard but building strength. You can keep going.
  3. Re-think: If you always do what you've always done, you'll keep getting the same results. Maybe, before you go an further, it's time to rethink your strategy.

What is the most appropriate action for you to take on your current journey?
